Childcare Coordinator – Part-Time

Hannah’s Hope Ministries | Reading, PA

Hannah’s Hope Ministries is seeking a dependable, caring, and energetic Part-Time Childcare

Coordinator to provide a safe, structured, and engaging environment for children while their mothers

participate in our evening programming.

Schedule

• Monday–Thursday evenings, approximately 2 hours per evening

• Up to 2 additional remote hours per week for activity and curriculum preparation

• Occasional opportunities for additional childcare hours during special events or programs

Responsibilities

• Prepare and lead age-appropriate activities during Children’s Program Hour

• Provide on-site direction and support to childcare volunteers

• Ensure children are appropriately supervised and maintain a safe, positive environment

• Communicate with the Program Coordinator regarding volunteer coverage needs, concerns, and

childcare needs

• Communicate appropriately with mothers regarding their children when needed

• Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming childcare spaces

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

• Enjoys working with children of varying ages

• Is dependable, patient, organized, and able to take initiative

• Communicates well with children, parents, volunteers, and staff

• Can provide calm, consistent leadership in a group childcare setting

• Supports the mission and values of Hannah’s Hope Ministries
