Celebrating Our Fall 2025 Intern: Naidy Aquino

At Hannah’s Hope Ministries, we are blessed with individuals who don’t just serve — they pour their hearts into our mission. One of those individuals is our most recent intern, Naidy Aquino, and we are honored to celebrate her incredible impact.

A Passion for Social Work and Community Impact

Naidy joined us during the Fall 2025 semester as she completed her internship hours for her social work degree at Alvernia University.

While balancing her academic responsibilities, Naidy also works full-time for the Reading School District — a true testament to her dedication, work ethic, and passion for serving others.

Her long-term goal is to become a strong community asset for children experiencing trauma. With many years of experience working within the foster care system, she already brings compassion, knowledge, and real-world understanding to the families she serves.

A Steady Presence for Moms and Children

From the moment Naidy arrived, she became an integral part of daily life at Hannah’s Hope.

She supports childcare three nights a week, helping create a safe, nurturing environment for the children while their moms attend classes and work toward stability. During dinner time, Naidy is often found assisting moms as they get their children fed — or entertaining little ones so mom can focus on preparing for class.

Her presence during the week offers something invaluable: consistency and security. For families who have experienced instability, having a dependable, caring adult nearby provides a powerful sense of comfort and safety.

The moms and children have truly come to love having her around.

Always Willing to Serve

One of the qualities that stands out most about Naidy is her willingness. No task is too small. Whether it’s helping with childcare, supporting a family during a busy evening routine, or stepping in wherever needed, she consistently shows up with a servant’s heart.

She has been a tremendous asset to Hannah’s Hope Ministries, and her impact will continue to ripple far beyond her internship hours.

Looking Ahead

Naidy’s future in social work is bright. With her dedication, experience in foster care, and passion for supporting children who have experienced trauma, we have no doubt she will continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of many.

Naidy, thank you for choosing to serve alongside us. You have made a lasting impact on our families, and we are so grateful for the time you’ve shared with us.
