Homelessness is not new. The number grows every year in the U.S. The solutions are complex, and challenging. 


Our 8 to 12-Month Transitional Housing & Support Model Works.
Here’s Why:


Hannah’s Hope Ministries responds with love and compassion to the clients we serve with a customized approach for each mother and her family. Taking the time to learn the strengths and weaknesses and the unique background of each mother we serve allows us to invest the time and resources needed for each mother to make the choices, learn the skills, and, with God’s help, change behaviors and move from a life of hopelessness to one of Hope, Strength and Prosperity during her 8 to 12-month journey.

Providing Tools and Support for Real Change!

Our 6-Point support system provides homeless mothers with the tools needed to achieve real and lasting change.

Employment

Every mother must seek employment or be working an educational tract to gain employment. Often both happen simultaneously.

Finances

Every mother must be involved in literacy training, with the goal of creating a family budget.

Emotional Wellbeing

Each mother attends weekly meetings with her Case Manager and is assigned a professional counselor of her choosing. Each must attend programming for Life Skills, Stress Management, Bible Studies, and other Life-Enriching opportunities.

Child Development

All children will have opportunity to be engaged in children’s programming at HHM. We offer Pediatric Occupational Therapy (volunteers from Alvernia University), Student Assistant Programming, (former certified volunteer), interactive story time, camping experiences, bible story time and more!

Partnerships

All residents will have access to partnerships made available through our relationships with Penn State Berks, Alvernia University, local hospitals, churches and more.

Mentorships

Many moms grow up in environments that do not represent positive, healthy role modeling. We connect our moms with Hope Partners who become both mentors and friends. These relationships reinforce the mission of HHM and build opportunities for moms to make friends for life!
